Privacy Policy

Supamaus Lite is built to be private by default. The app runs entirely on your Mac. This policy explains what that means in practice.

What we collect

Effectively nothing. Supamaus Lite does not require an account and has no Supamaus-operated cloud. Screen captures, gestures, and voice transcription (via on-device WhisperKit) are processed locally and never sent to us.

Where your context goes

When you trigger a capture, the resulting context is handed to the AI agent you have explicitly connected (for example, Claude Code or Codex) over the Model Context Protocol. That agent’s own privacy terms govern what happens next. Supamaus Lite is only the bridge.

Payments

Purchases are handled by our payment provider, Polar, acting as merchant of record. They process your payment details and issue your license; we receive only the information needed to deliver and support your purchase.

Diagnostics

If you opt in to share anonymous crash diagnostics, we may receive non-identifying technical data to fix bugs. This is optional and off by default.
